Iris Agate can be placed on a display stand or put on a string which is located in front of a sunny window. It can be mounted in a display case by using backlighting. Polished front and back, this excellent cabochon will make any artist or collector happy!  These are great cabs for Craft and Jewelry Projects. Cabs are undrilled and could be used for inlay, wire wrapping and embellishment.  These cabs are great for altars, grids, terrariums, pocket stones, gifts, home decorating, mineral collections, grounding stones and more! They are also wonderful additions to meditation, reiki and chakra work.

The name “Iris Agate” is used because one meaning of the word “Iris” is “a rainbow-like display of colors.”  It is a gemstone to give “courage” and “confidence” necessary for progress.   It promotes your inner recognition of truth, it’s centering and grounding, and increases joy and optimism. It also aligns chakras because of its prismatic nature. This stone comes from the province of Lampung on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia
